Company Overview

ERS is a family owned private corporation based out of Ligonier, IN. The company started in 1946 as a Motorola Authorized Service facility and grew to 3 locations in Elkhart, Fort Wayne, and Kokomo before becoming a full line dealer for Motorola Communications products.

In 1989 after becoming a Radio dealer the company began expanding and added a location in Muncie in 1996. Sales and service grew and before long we acquired the Indianapolis market for sales and service in 2000. Our most recent acquisition is the Evansville, IN market encompassing approximately 15 counties.

In addition to selling and servicing Motorola Solutions two-way communications equipment the company also expanded into the Data Solutions business hiring a sales representative and 3 technical people to support this Endeavour. Recently the company also added Cisco to its wireless offerings.

Emergency Radio Service, Inc. offers exciting career opportunities in many facets of wireless voice and data from Outside Sales Account Manager to Electrical Engineering Technologists that design solutions to customer wireless requirements.

The growth potential is real with the data solutions business already expanding in the adjacent states around Indiana. Service requirements for some larger projects are taking us to numerous states in the Midwest.
